This is a 20-minute, face to face general review of health for 0-16 year olds with one of our private GPs.

This appointment is for non-urgent and recent onset (<4 weeks) health issues only. 

• Examinations, referrals and private prescriptions issued as required
• For urgent or concerning symptoms please seek a review through your local urgent treatment centre or dial 111 / 999
• For a more detailed health review and for longer-term issues please book your child in for a BIA test appointment.   

All children should be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

This is an in-clinic IgE allergy blood test recommended as a stand-alone test for a child with:

• Suspected or known allergies
• Previous severe allergic responses
• Previous anaphylactic shock

What we test

• 60 food & drink allergens
• All 6 main allergy categories: nuts & seeds, grains, diary, legumes, meat, fish & seafood, fruit, vegetables.
• Total IgE

How we test

• You will  need to attend  the AEGA HEALTH clinic for a 5 minute blood test
• Your child's finger or heel will be numbed with a spray if required
• A small sample of blood will be obtained through a quick prick to the heel or finger 
• A small plaster will by applied, if required
• Sensory toys are made available for use

What to expect afterwards

• The sample will be analysed by our lab and results released within 10 days
• You will receive a report highlighting any specific allergy detected out of the possible 60 allergens
• You will have access to an allergy management protocol & online health portal
• You will be offered 30 minutes of online support from our Allergy Health Coach for an additional £55

If your child has additional health needs and you are interested in alternative management then please consider booking in for a BIA test.

This is a home-based needle-free sensitivity test for a child with:

• Unexplained bloating and digestion troubles 
• Suspected food intolerances
• Previous or current IBS / food sensitivities
• Unexplained fatigue

This is a stand-alone test carried out in the comfort of your own home. 

Please note that this test is already included in all BIA test packages.

What we test

• >1200 possible sensitivity triggers in food & drink (not allergies)

How to test

• This is a home-based test
• A small sample of hair is obtained for further analysis
• Once completed as per emailed instructions, you will label and send your hair sample to our lab.

What to expect afterwards

• The sample will be analysed by our lab and results released within 7 days
• You will receive a report highlighting any triggers and some deficiencies
• You can book a 20 minute support call with our specialist GP if you require further guidance (additional £85).

The sensitivity test is included as part of some of our specialist clinics and as part of all initial BIA test appointments.

Recommended for 0-7 year olds. Perfect for root cause analysis of:

30 minute appointment consisting of:

• A needle-free sensitivity test for >1200 triggers
• A personalised GP appointment with additional BIA testing to identify the root causes of your child's issue.

• Safe & effective naturopathic or herbal prescriptions to compliment ongoing medication or as alternative management 

 We do not provide acute medical services, for new illnesses please seek the usual support of your NHS GP or urgent care unit.

If your child is being investigated for or has a form of epilepsy or an implanted electrical device we regret that we are unable to offer the BIA test, at this stage, due to a theoretical risk. Please contact info@aegahealth.com or book a 30-minute GP appointment instead.

• Safe & effective naturopathic or herbal prescriptions to compliment ongoing medication or as alternative management

• A review of your child's health progress 
• A report with suggestions to keep health on-track
• Safe & effective naturopathic or herbal prescriptions to compliment ongoing medication or as alternative management

What to expect
